What is AD Tidy?
AD Tidy is a free tool that can help IT administrators Managing Active Directory (AD). Get in control over your inactive User and computer account in Active Directory. Export reports to CSV or Excel files, to get the full overview of your installation. It is a must have tool for every sysadmin working with Microsoft Active directory.
It can be a big task to make sure that all the users in your AD is actually active users with active computer accounts. The bigger the company, the bigger the task. AD Tidy can be a big help, when you need to find those account that are no longer active, but still are enabled in your directory.

Supported OS: Windows XP and above, including Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012. (I have used the tool on both Windows server 2016 and 2022 as well).

Overall, I believe that AD Tidy is a very powerful tool, if you need to clean up an Active Directory installation, with a lot if user and computer object that you are not sure about.
