I have been using the free software from Evernote for many years. It is free and very simple to use. Lately Evernote have started showing up all kinds of popup to upgrade from the free plan, whenever I login. They have also changed number of devices from where I can access my notes. I used to be able to access from both my Smartphone and my personal computer, but that have been changed to one device only. Now I though, it might be time to switch to another solution.

What is Evernote

Evernote is a free note-taking tool, that makes it easy to take notes and have access to them wherever you go. I have been using it for years. I often make small notes to myself. It can be a shopping list, or info I need to remember. I often write notes sitting behind my computer, but I also often access notes using the Evernote app on my smartphone, whenever I am not home.
